Hi all,

Has it not been busy this year or something? its not worth going to unless its in privelage, Its the breathtaking size of the place and so many people in one club that makes it really.

What is the capacity of the Amnesia terrace? When I went to Manumission in mid-July, it was certainly still extremely busy.

I am surprised by this move, but I like the look of the Made in Italy line-ups so it should be a quality night. Now, if only I could make it out again this season!

god i hope its only temporary, manumission belongs in one place only, privilege, anywhere else it just wont fel like manumission :x

Presume this is just temporary....? Thought it was a shoe-in for Space?

And I'm sure it won't be going back to Privilege, not unless various money changes hands.

ahahahahah!!!all this story is so funny...money,money,money....

Privilege holds 10,000, with Manumission taking 100% of ticket sales. Amnesia holds (as far as I know) 8,000 and since there is another promoter on in one of the rooms that would seem to imply Manumission can hope for a maximum of 50%... doesn't seem to add up. I've only been to Amnesia once and didn't spend that much time on the terrace, but I certainly don't recall there being a stage, so if they need to build one that will reduce their capacity even further. Add to that the loss of Sleazeville and La Chatte Agile and the fact that you won't be able to watch the sunrise and Manumission suddenly sounds a lot less appealing.

i remember my first manu in 1996(97?)...it was incredible, because it was fresh, but now,pfffff.....just another big machine...

dont forget that jose extaniz locked the doors on manumission last friday

it ended up a game of bluff and privilege lost

as of last night, privilege have locked manumission out and won't let them take their gear
