Manumission Closing

Ok, so the jury's out as to whether Manu is actually any good...music policy etc, etc. We loved it last year for the record. Cheesy - yes. Something not to be missed though.

What I need to know is......when is the Manumission Closing Party???

On the clubbing calendar it says Monday 20 September, on the Manumission website it says Monday 13 September.

Cheers to anyone that can clarify. :D

Seems like a bit of a major event to be confused about!! Pretty please can it be the 20th!?!?
 
no somone did post something but it didn't make sense. i don't understand why it says 13th on their website though i missed the opening party by two days this year and going back in sept for two weeks would be good if was on 13
 
Anybody have any info. on this question? I will be in Ibiza on September 13-18 and would be very happy if I was fortunate enough to catch a big closing party or two.....

Again:

Part one will take place over 12 weeks in Ibiza from Monday 5th July through to Monday 20th September. Part two will take place in New York, opening on Wednesday 24th November, the eve of the Thanksgiving holiday. This massive departure marks Manumission's first event outside of Ibiza for ten years.
 
Where is this info from? Hope you're right!!! Bit odd that the official website says closing is the weeke before though.....

it was from manumission's press release.

i can't see on the main site where it says the closing is the week before

but if you click on 'Buy Tickets' on the main site you can buy tickets for the closing on 20th September, click the link below if you still don't believe me!! :lol: :lol:

i still cant see it anywhere on the site, maybe i'm going crazy or maybe you can direct me to it!
 
From the main site - click on "View this year's site" in the bottom left corner. It's all done in Flash I think - you'll need the plug-in. Then click on "Main room" from the menu at the bottom. Next page shows the full line up at the top of the page, with a video clip for each. Last one is 13 Sept - Closing Party.

For what it's worth, I believe you and not them!! All the advance ticket outlets on the web are selling tickets for 20 September.
 
They say "12 parties". There's 12 weeks until the 20th Sept, but the 10th Anniversary party is on a Friday it seems, which would be an extra date......
 
Manu Closing

Cool. So now I know it's closing when I'm over there? Any idea who will be playing - we can expect something special for the closing party, right?

Have to admit, although it was a bit cheesy last year, with too many beer boys and far too many bongo's at 6am and p diddy doing a live pa of his 'lets get *ill' tune - it was a lot of fun.

Just hope this year they remember to keep those fans running all night....too hot!
