Not quite Ibiza or club related however could anyone point me in the direction of some good bars in Manchester? Have never been before and flying back from Dubai for the gigs in June. Hoping for some decent weather hopefully get a beer garden! Will be living in the city centre.
 
There are loads of decent bars in Manchester does depend on what you want to spend/atmosphere you're looking for. Personal favourite when it's sunny is rain bar which is close to deansgate locks but nothing like the bars on the locks. Which is a good thing in my opinion.
 
dukes 92 in castlefield and the bars down there are good if it is sunny but quite expensive, also good real ale bar under arch with a small upstairs.

Spinningfields is where Mrs goes.

Northern quarter lots to choose from and very much stone roses-ie, id go there but cant recommend rooftop bars.

Deansgate has chain pubs, weatherspoons/slug and lettuce 2-1 cocktails/sawyers arms, walk around to oyster bar which has a court yard which is ok in the sun.

Sure they'll more detailed pointers from someone.

Chorlton just out the centre is meant to be decent but ive not been yet.
 
Id go both day and night! As for posh or poor definately poor. Heard someone before mention the northern quarter so will probably have to check that out.

Going to the gig on the friday then just out in manchester on the saterday.
 
Nice one i will be heading to the airport in a few hours. Be rude not to have a few pints! Any manchester bars worth checking out ? Think we will head to the northern quarter at some point.

Sorry i'm not from Manchester and it was very much a straight there straight back kinda trip unfortunately!
