manchester new years eve

anyone going to manchester for new years eve. i decided to stay in my home town this year and am going to secret warehouse party with groove armada run by sankeys. (v excited! :D ) anyone else going? or did anyone go last year and can tell me any info about it? also me and my friends were looking for an after party. so if anyone can help post bac. cheers. x :)

hey i'm not sure. there not really givin much away at the min. been lookin through the net but haven't come up with much. i have faith tho!
 
I would imagine they have 2 or 3 gigs that night.

We spent last NYE in Manch< I love your city so much.

Went to "tribal gathering" last year and that was awesome!! deep dish & groove armada rocked!! aint doing the warehouse party this year, going "venus" instead, have been outvoted in favour of happy house by the laydeez!! However I do know that the venue for sankeys do is a warhouse behind deansgate locks!! ;)
 
Gave up going to Groove Armada as mate is playing with the Slammin Boys at a night on Deansgate. Only £15 a ticket and should be excellent - souful funky house with the Angel Deelite crowd up for a party!

Ain't going to Venus as the previous couple of years have ended up working for the promotor instead of paying in - and I ain't paying £30 to see the residents!

cheers for the info! im really lookin forward to it. only thing is it says on ticket it's only till 5 which is quite crap. i assumwe it will go on later. what time did it go on till last year? i heard the locks r open till 8 but i doubt we will b able to (or have the money to!) go there once we been to warehouse. x

not sure what's happening at the locks??? or what time theyr'e open till, im sure loaf, fat cat, revolution etc will all be doign their own thing!! the only place I know in town with an 8'oclock licence is the press club!! ;)

well i'm not exactly sure! jus read it somewhere and remembered thinkin thats good! wat time did the warhouse party go on till last year?

mia: it went on till 6am but we had cleared of by 3'ish!! mind yiu we had been there since 5pm the day before!!! :?

ok cool cheers. this one doesn't start till 9 new years eve then there is a part two on new years day at 6pm till 4 i think. only goin to new years eve one unfortunately as funds r low. would of loved to go to new years day aswell. hacienda reunion type thing that day. would of loved it im sure. :cry: anyway im quite sure 6am will b to early for me to go home! ill find somat am sure! :D

yeah, I used to go sometimes when I lived in manc!!

Romp is wicked - every Thursday night at One Central Street. Loads of fit laydeeeez - check it out!
