Where did all the sand go? it's all rocks now?
 
It's all rocks now.

I like it better now with the decking and the steps to sit on. As for Kanya, I much preffered it before they gave it a refurb!!

I do like the new decking etc. and I like how its a nice walk right around from the marina now, but looking at those pics I think I'd have to say I prefer it without. But thats progress for you.

Not so keen on the militant security (although they were there before the decking was introduced too). 'You didn't buy this beer in Mambo, you cannot drink it here' - er, aye I can (before rule was brought in outlawing this seriously anti-social behaviour). :spank:

that´s a good question.
same at salinas in front of sa trinxa !
is the sand taken away by some winter-storms in certain areas
and they (have to) bring it back with lorries in spring ??
 
Wow Kanya looks completley different now dont it? any more pictures of old san antonio/sunset strip?
 
I caught a very nasty disease in the old Kanya swimming pool. I should have noticed that whilst I swam in it everyone else just stood in it for a minute or so.

nice one craig. anyone know what year savannah opened? I remember being there in 99 but cant remember about 97 when i first went
 
There was always something going on there like in this pic.BBq or lads trying to set up some decks.. i dont think mambo was even open that year..
