Magaluf to Ibiza

I see that there are ferries between Majorca and Ibiza does anyone know the prices? A friend of mine is on holiday in Magaluf whilst I'm in ibiza and he wants to come over for a night out with us. Is it easy enough to taxi from Magaluf to Palma then ferry over? Has anyone ever done it?

Any help appreciated =)
 
I haven't done it, but I was thinking about it a few years back - can't remember for definate but I think the price was working out at about £60 or so. It's not far from Magaluf to Palma in a taxi (maybe 10 miles) so it is do-able. Can't remember how long the ferry takes though - a couple of hours maybe. There's a link on this site somewhere to the ferry companies (but I don't think their web pages are all that useful, so you might need to call them).
