Maestro card

Hi, i just got a letter from my bank saying they are changing my kiddy card into a duel function maestro card. Just wondered if any body knew if u can use these cards abroad to draw money out? if so it will be a good bonus as i cant even get cash back with the card i have at the mo!!

Well a maestro card means that you can use it abroad anyway. However, not sure whether or not you will get charged for using it. Most banks only allow cash back when you have a credit card.
When i go to Ibiza in July i am going the travel agents and instead of travellers cheques you give them your holiday spends and they put it on your on visa debit card in euros and so you dont get charged a penny.
