madrid to ibiza

What is the best, i.e. cheapest way to get from madrid to ibiza? Any tips on places to stay, things to do while there? (besides clubbing)
 
I would say flying is easiest and cheapest, unless you have a handy car to drive to Barcelona and catch the ferry? Plane would be much cheaper though
 
Spanair has some very economical prices between the 2 points... if you're going during peak period you may wanna consider setting up a booking soon b4 the space runs out!
 
We're getting a Spanair flight Madrid to Ibiza on the friday before the Space opening for about 40 Euros!
