ECLECTRICITY are proud to announce the Birmingham debut of not just one techno legend but two …. LUCIANO & LOCODICE! Anyone who has been out to Ibiza in the last 5 years or is into underground electronic music will have heard of both of these seminal DJ’s. It’s a real coup to have them on the same bill as their UK appearances are few and far between due to a hectic international schedule. They are two of the most in demand DJ’s on the plant and to have both of them on the same bill in the stunning ampitheatre of the Q Club is going to be nothing short of legendary.

One of the most well respected and in demand DJ’s of today. A sovereign of the underground scene, he is the boss of Cadenza, one of the most influential minimal techno and tech house record labels of this decade. Luciano's mixed Swiss & Chilean identity shows in his music, a somewhat mystical blend of deep techno & house that integrates southern elements in rhythms and colorful patterns in sound. His list of accolades is endless….. Circo Loco and Cocoon residencies, essential mix on Radio 1, critically acclaimed appearances at pretty much every prestigious underground party on the planet and a string of hot releases.
LOCO DICE (Desolat)
Every so often a DJ or producer comes along who inspires the collective imagination. If you’ve seen Loco Dice perform at his ten-year-long Tribehouse residency in his hometown Düsseldorf, or at DC- 10 in Ibiza (from ’02-’06), you will have clicked to this. Loco Dice is a DJ who can puzzle together intangible moods with a direct approach. Via his DJ sets or his productions on labels like M_nus, Cadenza, Ovum, Four Twenty and Cocoon, he merges perspectives in his delicate sense for sounds and reflective atmospheres, underpinned with solid, physical grooves.
The Venue
The Q Club
A beautiful former Methodist Church, Central Hall, on Corporation Street, The Q Club is a Grade II listed building and one of the most traditional buildings you will see in Birmingham city centre, with its red brick facades and arches, its impossibly high ceilings, sweeping staircases and leaded stained glass windows. The main room is an ampitheatre, which is nothing short of awe inspiring. The venue is steeped in musical heritage having been the first venue to ever feature a live essential mix on BBC Radio 1 as well as playing host to acts such as David Bowie, Daft Punk and Blur.
