Diva, (formerly Love) shut a month or so ago.

Was quite looking forward to going too!

Feedback from the board was good (for underclub on Weds), suggested it was a nice venue, good music only a little quiet in the house room. Had some good underground djs booked. Please tell me I'm not lame!

You are not lame! I had 2 great nights (music-wise) at Underclub. Never filled up, unfortunately, but it had great promise. They'd done some good work with the venue.

Was sad to hear they didn't make it through the summer. That building is cursed!

Is this the place near the coast that hosted Southportweekender parties a couple of years back? And flooded a few times...(big outside terrace bit to it)

Was called something else then wasn't it?

It is a great shame, I don't think i'd ever get bored of the clubs that I frequent but it would be nice to have a few new venues (and perhaps bulldoze a couple of old ones!)
