I was gutted for Love last Saturday night ... we sat in Kopi bar for 3 hours last saturday night and watched about 15 people go in and 10 walk out ... ( we aint that sad, we had been to the supermarket bar down the road with the Brits ....... not !!! ) If they are serious about LOVE .. try a HARD dance night .. or get a DJ the peeps know .. just to kick it off .. Tanya Vulcano for one ... I wish i had the Dosh !!!

I heard the original owners refused to buy lucky heather (dear) from gypsies once and as such the venue was given the evil eye and is destined to be void of good nights for all eternity.
Something like this (only the person being cursed probably had a mullet / fin combination and a heavy cocaine habit)

MAN FLU is just a term used to describe any minor ailment ranging from a broken a bruised thumb, two sneezes in one hour and an eye lash caught in the eye.
WOMAN FLU on the other hand ranges from monthly gut wrenching pain to child birth and all mannor of nasties in between.

We went 2 or 3 years ago when it was Somny .. it was emptyish then, we had a good night .. danced me tits off !!! There again we had a good night a few years ago at PIN UP !!! remember that one ? Garlands made me do it !!!
Some of the PR workers on the strip said they hadn't marketed Love enough ... and I think some nights had dropped out .. it just wasnt open al week. They tried to do a day time party .. on a MONDAY !!! big mistake cos we all know that would just be Circo Loco !!! ... We were gonna go in on the Saturday night but when we watched the lack of people we changed our minds and went to Bora Bora instead ... then up for Space Closing bash on the Sunday ... Oh heady days ..
Anyway .. back to this real world and roll on next summer !!!

People knew about the venue but just didn't know what was on which night (well I didn't) plus Love and Kiss are terrible names and make it sound really tacky.
It's hard for a new venue and nights that aren't in the more established places to make it unless they're pushed hard. Just look at Stink and the line-ups there were fantastic it's just that no publicity materials on the island said who was on when!
