Buckley, I'm sitting here having just got back from a very enjoyable trip to Marrakech, not knowing whether to pinch or piss myself. The pastor is an intriguing (sp?) individual. Wrong on all levels.
 
For me it's not that much more ridiculous than all organised religion but it's more hateful and therefore more harmful.

Brilliant again from Louis Theroux. Best bloke on telly - FACT. How they didn't get pasted at the funeral I don't know. Bit too full on there I thought. Along the same lines as the Jew Hater one he did previously but not as good as he wasn't personally involved as much.

And also quite sad. That young girl who Louis was knocking around with was doomed to be an outcast for the rest of her life, because of her indoctrination. And also because she was a tw@t

And that poor kid who got the can of beer lashed off his head.

i think it being so extreme makes it less harmful
even stupid people will be able to see this sect is wrong and so not join
meanwhile lots of people join/practice more "mainstream" religions
 
Very very sad state of affairs... The little 6 and 7 year olds who were partially brainwashed (they would have been fully brainwashed had they had the intelligence to understand the "message")

Evidence of just how stupid the human race can be. I am hoping for a Waco style ending to the church.

Yep it was a great show last night.

Although its easy to consider these people as complete idiots it is a good example of how powerful a child upbringing is. This strange 'hatred' is instilled from an early age as depicted by the programme. The child hated 'fags' before he was even old enough to understand what it means to be homosexual. We have the benefit of being able to discuss and debate opinion with people from a wide variety of backgrounds whereas these children are cut-off from the world for their protection.

It must be hard to break off from close family because you question what they all believe in. I imagine this is why many of the siblings find it easier to continue in their current path. Aside from the picketing and beliefs; as louis said, they are a good family unit at their heart making it all the more difficult to become one of the 'fallen'.

p.s. Chris morris is awesome.

They have put up a message about the BBC and C4....I particularly found the bit where it said " You will have no excuse once the BBC and Channel 4 release their pieces on the WBC. No matter what perverted light they display us in, you will receive the message. God Hates Fags. God Hates You" very uplifting and a great start to the week!
