Hi,
i am big fan of the old Ibiza music, and i have also mixes for trade.
I like mixes from Ku, Amnesia and Space from 85-92.
Cassettes or files are very welcome! :)
Please write me

yes, you mean the warm up sessions, i think. i already got all from the internet, thanks.
I am looking for mixes or cassettes from people who actually were in Ibiza to that great time.
Who partied there, lived there, or worked there or in the clubs. :)

yes, i chatted yesterday on FB with him. They got tapes, but many people asked before already, and they don't give copies.
They will upload 1 mix soon on youtube, and they post every friday, a song form their purchase lists from the old days; starting at 1981.

yes, i got the testpressing mixes already.

i want to get in contact with people who got cassettes.

would there be many tapes from that era though? I don't remember seeing any until late 80s/early 90s when the mixtape thing really took off

maybe ask Alfredo, Padilla, Phil Mison, Jolyon Green, Moonboots, Pete Herbert, Kelvin Andrews, Nancy Noise, Antony Daly (586 Records), Timm Sure (Coyote), Dean Sunshine Smith - all those guys specialise in 80s Ibiza/balearic pop - They might be willing to share rarities but you'd have to convince them you're an enthusiast and not just someone wanting to punt these on discogs

thanks for the hints!!!
i had talked to alfredo already.
i think mixtapes exist on the market since 1984, most are from 87-92 maybe.

I'll have a look and see what I have from pre-90. Probably nothing though that isn't already out there in the ether.

I just found this hot mix on my mixcloud - a very cheesy megamix which tied in with the world cup. Brings back fond memories. I guess these were were all big in Ibiza at the time

*On slight tangent but I didn't really properly see actual mixtapes in the stores until around 92/93 when I moved to Exeter. Solo Records had loads of rave/hardcore tapes which were probably bootlegged (quality was hmm!) I think the excellent JDJ series were the first attempt to 'professionalise' them and then Sasha & co took them to a much larger audience, when dance music became big business.

+ A lot of the more recent mixes I have I won't share because certain DJs can get very hissy about stuff going public. I can't imagine this being an issue 30+ years later though!

I am still looking for mixtapes from 1980-1992 from Ibiza.
I am very reliable when someone lends me cassettes for copying. I can show positive feedback from people who lent me cassettes.
I got fantastic tapedecks to get the best quality from the tapes.
And i am always ready to return favor, not only take.
Let me know
