First time for us in San An in the summer so we tried a short break at the Hostal mari which is a top little hotel (see hotel review)
Friday- few drinks in the hotel then a wonder to Rincon De Pepe for the best tapas ever with a jug of sangria watching the world go by. More drinks at Mambo followed by kip. That night we went to Il Vaticano which never dissapoints where for the bargain price of 50 euro we got a tom and feta stater followed by veal for me and something else for Mrs T with a nice bottle of white.
Sat- Fook me how did I spend £200+ Mambo and Savanah charged !3-16 euro for vodka you are having a laugh ( must not drink with a wad of cash to blow)
any hoo day spent loafing evening er well drinks food and stuff v hazey
Sun- Cala Bassa top weather nice chilled day even if the boat was as rough as !
Met up with some friends who now live in Ibiza who laughed at us drinking in Mambo Doh. By now we have taken the mods advice and are drinking in cool little Spanish bars and having a blast. Food @ Villa Merc, again top food gilt head brem and a bottle again around 40 euro great night.
All in all San An ok for 3 days but no more yet ! (we walked in saw an English bloater exposing his huge gut rubbing his b*lls shouting come and have some of this girls) and walked away.
I can see its getting better but could it price its self out ?
why does it cost the same for a few drinks as it does for a meal and wine.
Next time a table at Pacha me thinks
Ibiza we still love it after 10 years it gets better and better the more we see and do and less we club (getting old now)
