Have you all got back on public transport yet?

Where, when & what?

...and how was it for you?

I've not done the tube yet but got an overground train from Charing X to London Bridge on Friday...5 minute journey but sh*t my keks throughout. Was stood next to an unattended bag which belonged to some stooopid old lady who thought it would be clever to leave them by the door.

Walked to work this morning - daft I know but since Thursday, the mere thought of being underground gives me an anxiety attack! :?

Well i went back to work on friday but i don't need to use the tube, just the overground train to liv st, but we went on the tube sat night. Even though we knew that nothing would happen because commuter time is the most likely time anything may happen we still felt sick and a bit nervous. But you just have to get back on with life don't you.

Caught the tube from Farringdon, went through Kings X and have to admit it was on my mind. When the train stopped at Kings X and the Driver came on the PA, he said the station was closed due to a security alert.

Got to Euston Sq and almost walked to camden because I didn't want to go on a bus, but then decided I was being daft and caught my normal bus anyway.

Will take a little bit to feel normal again :?

I got back on the tube Friday morning, on the way home (I didnt go into work) the morning after the attacks. I felt safer then than I did this morning, simply because the carriages were so empty, and the chances of there being more bombs the day after was slim. Plus I had Jon and Mark with me so I felt safer anyway ;)

Done my normal journey into work today, was definately a bit scary. Everyone seems much more aware of who's getting on/off the tubes. I myself was giving everyone a good hard stare to see if anyone was acting suspiciously.

I'm just going to try and get back to normal now. I believe in fate, when your time is up its up, so this wont affect my everyday routine.

Well done you!
That's a fantastic attitude for someone that was so close to one of the incidents.
I think it's going to take me a while.
