london/ january

Barbie, This cocktail bars look wonderfull, I definitely want to go. Do you think there is any need of making a reservation? I have read that they have changed their policy and I think the ligth bar only let in members, guests and no members with reservation.
What do you think?
On the other hand me and my sister going to adapt ourselfs to the english dinner time, is good for us as we would be able to have an early nigth without giving it up! plus we will be able to get up early and get the most of the day!so we are going to go for our cocktails at about 9:30 pm so we got time to use the tube to get home, we really don't mind if it is a litle bit out of our way. If we are late to get the tube we would ask a cab! :D
thanks :D

I didn't know the Light Bar was members only, I know the Long Bar is open to non-residents of the hotel. I would probably make a reservation (but then I'm a mad organised English bint   ). The tubes run til about 1 at a wkend so you'll probably be fine getting home, or if you're really desperate you could brave a night bus 8O

When are you coming over Mikkak, it must be soon now??

just 8 days to go. I am comming the 11 of january:D

I don't want to be a pain, but is looking very dificult to ensure a table in this 2 cocktail bars, they can't book me a table in the Long Bar just in the courtyard but I can get in the guestlist so they would put me in contact with the one encharge so he explain me how to do that. I am awaiting response from the Ligth Bar. If in the end I can't go ( fingers crossed) have you got anyother suggestions of coctail bars that are not located in a hotel wich seem to be the problem. I know I am being such a pain ( I bet you regret answering my questions;)):oops::oops::oops:
Thanks:D

No worries, ask away Mikkak ;)

The problem with a lot of the cocktails bars is that they're a bit poncey and members/gl only.

I don't think you'll have any problems getting into either cos mid-January is a quiet time for bars. The other place I really love for cocktails is Loungelover http://www.loungelover.co.uk/ but it's a bit of a trek East if you're going to be based Central London.
