London Indian Restaurants

As a few of you here are from London/live in London/work in London would anyone have any tips on where to go for a nice Indian tomorrow after work. We are heading Tottenham Court Road way as far as I know, I searched for some on those London websites and of course they all get pretty ok reviews so is hard to tell.

I have flashbacks of a disaster Indian meal round Liverpool St way, got totally ripped off.

Any ideas? Any tips to look out for?

if you're up West, there's a very good and relatively cheap place just off Piccadilly.

It's called Chowki, on Denman St.

For top-end, I'm told you can't beat the food at the Cinnamon Club (in Westminster, near the Abbey but can't remember the exact address) but it's very pricey.

Are you looking for top-end / special occasion or just a decent curry house

If you looking for decent the reviews are probably a good indicator.

Actually there is a decent curry house right at the top of covent garden. At the end of the street with all the shoe shops.

Top end

Cinammon Club, Mint Leaf, Gaylords are really good.

Hey Buckley long time no speak what you up to party wise this year?

Hello mate. Been very quiet of late since October.

Dipping a toe back in the water with a tunes and beers session at The Abbey Tavern, a bar I'm involved in, this Saturday. Come down for a pre-club beer if you're in the area. 124 Kentish Town Road, NW1. We're going to be doing some pre-parties/afterparties for some established nights along with some new kids on the block.

How's your stuff going?

And do you know any decent curry places for Emma as we've crashed her thread?;)

We did a bit with azuli in december and a shockingly bad night at what used to be Meet in faringdon at easter, we're thinking of junking twistedfunk after the boat doo in july and starting something fresh later this year. I'm getting married in september then a load of us are heading out for the closing straight from the wedding so will start after that.

Cant make sat, but stay in touch, when you in ibz this year?

Brick lanes good if you wanna cheapie
