Loads of those goosebump moments!

Just back from another round of Ibiza and got to say that the DC10 session from monday just gone (29/7) was one of the best I've had there in

years so feel I've gotta share a bit of it! :p

Music was so spot on all night, and whilst both room line ups were unreal I really couldn't tear myself away from the terrace no matter how

many times I tried en route to toilet or bar I always ended up back on the terrace! (Always the way in there!)

Standout sets were Dyed Soundorom b2b Dan Ghenacia who played a bit of a classics set I think because of it being the 15th anniversary, they

dropped Mike Dunn - So let it be house, a really stripped back version of Moloko - Sing it back, (think it was Herberts Dub version of it) and I'm

pretty sure i heard God made me Phunky as well (Which funnily enough, Luciano played as his final tune at Ushuaia the next night) amongst

others. The atmosphere was so good in there, so many arms in the air the whole night,

by the time Maceo Plex came on for the closing set it was perfectly busy and he really stepped the music up in terms of fierceness and tempo

:twisted:8).

He started off really well with the usual growling basslines then by mid set it seemed like he was winding down the pace for a deep end but

then as soon as everybody had got into a comfortable pace of floaty dancing he picked it up for the best 45 mins or so of music I've heard for a

very long time. Easily the best tune of the night was the one he played 15 mins before the end. From memory it had a big growling bassline

build up with

the word "atomic" being repeated over and over. The drop of the tune was the most perfectly produced bassline I've ever heard, it shook

everyone on the dancefloor completely from head to toe and everyone in there was so shocked at how powerful and perfect it sounded, it

seemed like it was made perfectly for that soundsystem/room combination! (I have put a tune id request in the music section so if anyone

knows what it is it would be much appreciated) :)8)

So many arms flinging in the air the whole set and he finished the

set perfectly mixing into Gat Decor - Passion (which sounded so funky after the last couple of hours of heavy, deep basslines). Quite clearly I

was very happy with the night and with it being only 40 to get in and 5 euros for a water it was well worth the money! :p

Brilliant, thanks for sharing. Great to see Circo Loco delivered the goods. It ALWAYS does for me, even if some people on here say they've had bad experiences recently.
