Liverpool help...

If any of those living in the North West could help I'd be much appreciated!

Basically I want to rent an apartment in Liverpool from 20-24 July this year. If possible as near to Hoylake as possible, although Liverpool centre is fine. Nothing fancy, just a place to live for 4 days!
Can anyone recommend a good short term rental site? I've been searching but can't seem to find any apartments for rent in the 'Pool.... surely there must be some?!

Thanks in advance...

What are you going to Liverpool for, just being a nosy bint and you've not told me of these movements  ;)

Sandi will be your best bet for Liverpool advice ;)

Never you mind Nora Nosey :spank:

My family and I are going to the Open Golf Championship again in July (well, my dad and my brother are actually going in the golf, me and my mum are just going to be shopping and having nice lunches in Liverpool for a few days  ).
Remember last year it was in Scotland? This year it's on the Wirral!
They've predominantley booked a hotel in Chester but it's quite far so they're trying to get something cheaper!

Ooh sounds lovely, I really like Liverpool as a city :D

Now don't you be making any derogatory (sp??) comments about it when you get back or you'll have the residents of Liverpool after you 8O

A pedant writes*:

I don't think you mean 'predominately' Miss Boo? That would mean they've mainly booked a hotel in Chester. Maybe 'prospectively'?

*and then ducks!

almost as pedantic as me

Actually, Buckster, "prospectively" is also the wrong word. That would mean that they were expected to be booking the hotel.

I think she means "preliminarily", or even better, 'tentatively".

Stayed in the 'Days Serviced Apartments, 23 Hatton Garden' last may, was a good spot within walking distance of everything, not sure what the Website is but i'm sure if you do a search you'll find them :)

Hiya. You could have stayed in our flat but I want to have it rented out on a longterm let soon cos it's costing too much money to keep our London place and the flat.

A site we looked into advertising on when we thought about letting it out short term was www.iknow-northwest.co.uk you'll find something on that.

Let me know nearer the time if you want some club/restaurant info. :p

"Preliminary" was in fact what I was looking for - I just couldn't find it in the dark recesses of mind and settled for the above. Although, having said that prospective still works if they've done it within their minds.....
