When friends or co-workers find out I listen to electronic music some people want to give it a listen. I'm always willing to burn them a CD or give them a recommendation but I struggle to pick something out of my collection. There is so much I like but I can't imagine what a newcomer might think of the stuff I love since my tastes have changed so much since I started listening.
Anyone else run into this? If so, what kind of recommendations do you give to someone who's never even listened to EDM. It might not be such a problem over in Europe but here in the states there is little EDM exposure, comparatively speaking.
So...I've got two co-workers looking for something to listen to tomorrow...any recommendations? I have well over 40Gigs of music so fire away...hopefully I'll have some of the recommendations...
