Still got the original from back then, as well as every vinyl record I ever bought from 1976 onwards. Gotta tell ya, there's loads of gems like this that the current generation maybe haven't heard.

........Armand Van Helden lifted the strings off this directly for his You Don't Know Me track.
Got an all vinyl gig tomorrow night...........Soul, Funk & Latin House for over 3 hours and will take and play Carrie Lucas as well as some other gems. Looking forward to it.

it was commercial disco fodder at the time - mass produced for the 'saturday night fever' disco crowd.

the 70's was my second favourite era after the 60's!

This turned out to be a major disaster! After discussing with the owner and also the manager what I was going to do music-wise for two weeks I turned up with two Adda cases full of great vinyl (including the above tracks) and a bag full of CD's. There was only one turntable installed with no slipmat, the other had been removed to replace a dodgy one at their nightclub. WTF!!! They had decided they wanted 70's and 80's party music!!! Well, it would have been nice to inform the freakin' DJ, Barstewards!!! 
If I'd known I would have took the computer. Luckily I had shedloads of CD's with me and, being the professional, carried off what turned out to be a great night anyway. Was fuming though!
There are ten or so disco's and nightclubs in my hometown and not one of them playing any genre's of House music, apart from the few tracks I can get away with each night in my venue. Sad (for the public too).

time for u to educate them!
when i mention house to people, they think - banging music.. (ie hard house)...
and yet when asked to join me on a night out, its, 'londons too far' - only live an hour away!
