It caters to the typical San An crowd.
Not a very asthetically pleasing place. Clientele often aren't much better. But you can have a laugh there I suppose. Can guarentee they will be showing sport during the day and early evening.
In my opinion it serves a purpose to the island, if only because it keeps a certain number of people contained and away from other places.
There are far better (and cheaper) bars in close proximity though mind.

As has been said it keeps some of the less desiarables out of the decent bars. Crap inside to, good job ocean is so close they can all stay between the two and away from the.nice places to enjoy a drink in san an.

i got accused of spilling a drink on some chav who was giving me the evils for about an hour...just dont need it....was no where near him! Some rough stag party....deffo not my idea of a decent ibiza bar....

Sounds about right, dirty bar full of dirty people..... Just best giving it a wide berth and letting them get on with it.

This precisely though I tend to use the term idiot bar for idiot people. Only ever walked by it and seen it on the Ibiza documentary which is more than enough.

I tend to not go to San An (Stay on the other side of the island) but when I do I always go to Bay bar, really like it there.

Walked through it once last year looking for someone showing the Hearts game. Walked straight through and out the exit. Think of the worst pub in your local town on a Saturday night and multiply by 100. The smell of sick and beer for a Sunday afternoon was disgusting.
As mentioned, any other bar. Itaca is my favourite, Bay Bay and Tulp also good.

Tulp is very pleasant, Buddha is another I like.

walking through ibiza town is nice, however, so is walking through alicante, but the drunks on benidorm strip and the west end are very samey, people with different expectations from those who appreciate a nice view or pretty tree.
imho, on the whole people are the same wherever you go in spain,and the services that cater for them are the same too, ibiza visitors might need more cash than those who visit the main land costas, but imo that does not make them better?
i wonder if the i heart ibiza t shirts are made in the same factory as the i heart benidorm t shirts?

There are some very pretty palm trees along the prom just by Ocean Beach Club actually. Great vista of the lovely San An bay from there too. Really nice walking along/sitting there right up until after Sunset when the animals start getting released from the zoo ....
