letting agent who pays who?

Hi Guys

just over here looking for digs, a letting agent suggested i pay him a grand( a months rent) for finding me a casa, surely this agent is working for the home owner, not me

why should i pay a grand for a ten minute property tour in some old flat??

is this the norm here, as its not on the costa blanca,

well obviously the greed associated with estate agent types is not limited to the mainland, you must presume then that some agents will also expect a months commission from the home owner too.


maybe this justifies all them years of training and studying and the exams etc to be an agent:lol:
