I have not meet one Eastern European person that has not hated the UK with a passion. Infact their hatred and views can be quite shocking! They are here to gain money to take back with them to build a better life. Which I can't complain about that..... I would... But what good does that do to our ecomony? (in the long run)
I think it's simply a case of experiences differing.
Of course many are going to come here and take the money back with them. That's the attraction to them. That's the trade off. The pound they earn here goes a long way in Zlotys back in Poland for example. In return we gain an increasingly flexible workforce which allows industry and progress to keep moving. That's the benefit to our economy. We want more skilled workers, they want more money. Everyone benefits. It's fantastic this market forces lark

But it may not last forever, as their own economies grow stronger the attraction to come over here may not be as strong.
Many people look to Eastern Europe for cheap labour, which can on occasion lead to exploitation - which in turns leads to resentment, understandably.
But the guys I know who come here, and there's a lot of them, get the good money. It's not about getting a cheap workforce, it's about getting a workforce full stop.
