I'm not too familiar with August in Ibiza. Going in a couple of weeks. I don't mind busy beaches but any tips for avoiding horrendous crowds and parking situations would be good.

I'm staying in Es Cana with a car for a full week so anywhere is fine.

Are there any large beaches that don't really become too crowded?

The smaller ones like Cala den Serra, Cala Xarraca etc - will they get busy? Is it best to avoid them on weekends?

Salinas - I went last year in August on a Sunday it was busy but In a good way. We managed to get a space arriving before dinner. What's it like on Saturday?

yeah those smaller beaches like xarraca do get very busy on weekends (and generally in august as the island's full). but I find that normally the beaches in the northeast (from santa eularia up to cala san vicente) are bearably busy even in peak season.

I found my least busy beach yesterday down the south and I think it could take the number 1 spot for my top ten most beautiful beaches in Ibiza - WOW

I expect many forum members will know what beach but I don't want to say the name as many people visit this site and I don't want to contribute to the hoards that will likely be there in 5 years time  but it's a pebble beach down south reached by car then foot

I`ll take a PM then, thanks :)
