yep..
but if you really want to stay motivated try to join a class twice a week 1 or 2 hours a time.. basically what it does is it keeps you motivated. when you self study its very easy to slack off one day then it becames two days, a week etc..
but being part of a group then you tend to go.
and of course study at home also for better results
now you also need to set goals!
example.
end of 3rd month I can make small conversation and write basic sentences etc..
3rd month make some online friends join a spanish online forum and read posts and post in spanish
end of 6th month , free talking with online friends through msn or IRC basic spanish etc..
moving up on my grammar books and tapes to higher levels etc...
goals really help you on your progress..
and of course the BEST GOAL!!
next summer 2006 12th month. ARRIVE IBIZA and speak intermediate spanish and have a BLAST!!!
listen to music, watch movies and tv, read childrens books.
it will take time so stick with it and dont give up!
you can only keep getting better!
