Lazers

Just wanted to hear peoples opinions on the above, this was just a test of 3 of the 7 installed on the seafront of my home town. Caused a bit of controversy but reminds me of Ibiza for some reason? ;)

A small world PLH!, or shall I call you Honnor!

The lasers, jury out.

The columns they are attached too superb.

Remind me of Ibiza? No!!

Half a million on installing some tacky lasers?

If I was a local i'd be absolutely raging at that.

The money is from the art council, so I guess that means the country pays for it - not just Weymouth folk

Well here's a thought, can I have my % back to pay for some disco lights on our street please

I want it spending on something decent like pavings that light up Billie Jean style

I like them. Much better than the tacky lights they have up in some seaside town e.g Blackpool.

I can see the link to Ibiza too. Dont they have a similar lazer around Amensia?

I agree, it seems the locals ( including my dad) like the tacky fairy lights as they are traditional ( not too sure what was used before electricity was invented) but if the town is to attract not just the bucket and spade brigade (who now jump on planes to the costas) but a more varied set then things need to change.
