Walking into Amnesia on a Friday night, one is normally greeted with an large spaceous Main Room with few people attending for the regular PeopleFromIbiza event that is put on however this week it was something special.
MarT performed a warm-up set on Amenisa's Terrace adding a soundtrack to the normaly closed room on a friday. With numbers sparse at first considering the rumours that Laurent Garnier was starting his live band set from 11pm, the club quickly filled its single large room open for the night. Clubbers were greeted with the "Amnesia presents" stage on their left as they entered which towers over the usual bar opposite the DJ booth in the Terrace.
As the sound system for the Terrace came to a halt, the lights, video and beats boomed from the Amnesia presents stage and stand alone sound system. What started was a fusion on Techno, DubStep, DnB, Jazz fusion with an electric atmosphere. Laurent covered previous hits from his band's back cataglogue and tested new material with an extended 1:30 to 3am live session. Even after the encore, the crowd still wanted more. Many, however then moved on to Club Underground to celebrate its 9th birthday, leaving MarT to entertain the rest until close.
