Got a week off in 2 weeks and im seriously considering coming back and doing 4 nights, Loads of people suggesting i should just book a flight a few days before as they will be dirt cheap and then find a hotel when i get there?

Very risky i imagine, the end of july is the peak season!


Anyone ever done that?!

Yes, I usually book 1-4 days before but that's just because that's the earliest I can be sure I can get away.

The pattern isn't really holding too well this year. Fares are tending to creep up 2 weeks before. Some amazing deals end of the month if you look on skyscanner and select "view whole month". For example I saw an inbound flight to Birmingham online earlier for £16. That's the sort of bargain which definitely won't be there come the week before.

Biggest problems this year are San An hotels and decently priced cars too. Both are filling up way ahead of time. I'd say consider booking now tbh.
 
Whats the normal price usually for 4 nights in ibiza the end of July? i haven't been in july for 3 years so have no idea whats cheap and what isn't

I'm still grappling with whether half of it is even repeatable .. was all a very liberated experience :lol:
 
Yes, well .... may have got to a couples only qualifier at one point but didn't feel the need to share with a whole establishment ;). I'll try to write something soon - have been flat out playing catch-up since I got back.
