Last day at work...

Such a sad thing, changing jobs is... even if you know it's for the best.

Downed several bottles of "bye bye" wine with the colleagues. Everyone's gone now and I'm just packing up my stuff... sniffle sniffle. :?

It's a new job in the same field, more or less. It's a bit of an unknown, to be honest, as the projects we'll be working on are still a bit unclear. One the one hand, it's cool because I'll be dealing with PR in different industries as opposed to just one. On the flipside, I'll be dealing with some of the same bosses I used to have so it's not a total unknown. We'll see how it goes.

Glad to hear the new job is going well 8)

Morbyd hun, PG wishes you the best as always. I have no worries about you fitting in at the new spot... your brilliance will wow them :p Keep us updated. Though I do not always have the time to post, I still read from time to time!!

Hey can I join in this Thread to as its my last day at work also!!!!

Hence why I have been chatting on this forum for that last month!

Why do companies make you work a months notice, I have just been sitting at my desk for the last month browsing the internet and costing them **** loads of money???? I did have a few projects to hand over to my successors but I could have done that in a week!!

Hell, I was "in the process" of changing jobs for 6 months. What a bore!

Glad it's over now... almost settled in to the new job. It's been a good week here.
