Las Dalias hippy Market - problem!

hello!

just got back from Ibiza last week to find my Missus's card has been charged 5 times (there where problems with the machine apparently..) for a rather expensive leather handbag she bought at a leather stall right at the back of the market on saturday the 15th..

unfortunatley it was on her debit card and visa are giving her no joy in getting the money back.. :cry:

she has tried emailing the market through the website and calling them but hasnt got any sort of reply yet..

does anyone on here work there or have any other way of contacting them...?

If your bank can catch the error before payment is actually made to the company, it may be able to put a "Stop Payment" on the transaction. However, this will vary by bank. If the bank is able to stop payment, there may or may not be a "Stop Payment" charge assessed to your account.

It will be a VERY expensive handbag if she paid for it 5 times. I'm guessing she didn't get any "failed payment" slips from the trader?

i think it was too late to put any stop payments on them from what she said the bank have told her..

and yup.. she didnt get any failed slips... 8O

and yes.. its looking like it might be a VERY expensive handbag as things stand..!! :x :roll:

She has now got her money back!

Her Dad luckilly is a linguist!! and speaks about a million languages..!

he phoned Las Dalias...

got through to a local house in Ibiza.. due to having a wrong number..! didnt speak enough spanish to explain what was going on..

luckilly the guy spoke french so they could talk..!

the guy was amazingly helpful and said he would get the right number for Las Dalias..!

got the number and Her dad phoned Las Dalias.. who then emailed the stall holder..

who Emailed back and eventually got the money refunded back to the 2 accounts after waiting for various bank Issues..

and now all is good! :D
