never found time to reply properly to this one but here's a bit of history for you:
all those lands in playa den bossa, long before there was anything built in them, were bought by a small group of people from cataluña. years later the "urbanización can bossa" was planned and they started selling lands (where the new owners -abel matutes/florentino arzuaga/etc- built hotels/apartments/etc), although some of the developments originally planned never happened (for example the avenue that should continue where the billboard below is and pass behind space). the piece of land you mentioned is apparently the only one that haven't been sold yet (the last one they sold is where the geminis complex is -that includes delano/mumak/picaro/etc-)..... anyway, answering your question: yes..... it's actually owned by around 130 people (!!), sons and grandsons of the original partners
