*** La Troya 2012 ***

Question about La Troya ... I have been to Supermartxe and Matinee before and the focus on the night has largely been on the production/stage show aspect, more so than the music. I know that these parties are similar to La Troya, so is this party essentially the same ... ?

Also how does this work with the main room, I seem to remember that it was a foam party in the main room, attracting a very different sort of crowd I would assume ... ?

The main room is the foam party but that doesn't kick off till 5ish maybe. Latroya it's self is similar in terms of stage show all though the show is probably a little more crazy than matinee. The music isn't as commercial either popular with the locals is generally a good night does get busy as well.

When would be the closing party?

La Troya. Still good???

Hi everybody

The last 10 years, everytime I went to La Troya I had a blast but is it still good?
That party is almost never mentioned on this site.

We went to La Troya a couple of weeks ago on the last night of our holiday, mainly cos we like amnesia as a club.

The La Troya show in the terrace was something else, musically i'm pretty open minded but tend to prefer the likes of sasha/digweed etc, i really enjoyed the music in the terrace, being La Troya the crowd is obviously more gay, lots of guys dancing with tops off etc, still a very mixed crowd in the terrace though.

The main room def more commercial but still varied and enjoyable, was good to go between both rooms to check out and hear what was going on musically. Really enjoyed the guy playing along on the saxophone in the main room. Foam party prob kicked in about 6 for the last hour in the main room, not my thing but still ended up in there and soaked to the skin .

Both rooms were busy but the terrace def the bussiest, terrace was packed all the way to the back bar.

La Troya was prob one of our best nights just for having a blast and enjoying ourselves and not having to watch for when our fav dj's come on and focusing on every song they played, would def go back next year.
