La Familia Wednesdays @ Ushuaia

Anyone share any info about how La Familia is getting on? Been to both Ants and Used+Abused at Ushuaia in the past and hoping for something similar...

What's the crowd/music/atmosphere like during the evening/night?

Hoping to go this Wednesday before DC10... the line up is looking pretty decent! Heard something about free entry before 7pm wristbands being given out by bora bora?
 
I was there on Wednesday and it was amazing! The back section behind the large pool (where the paddling pool is) was closed so although it was only half full it didn't feel empty, great crowd and tunes
 
Attended on Wednesday and have to say it was one of my highlights of the week. Fantastic b2b from Nick and Joris. Also caught the end of Martin Buttrich's set and that was also excellent
 
Anyone going tonight ? Sasha on from 8pm ... Me and the Mrs will be there ... Haven't seen Sasha since '94 at Hastings Pier Renaissance night!
 
La Familia on 2nd of September was up there in my top 5 nights out EVER.

Such good music from the two of them, exactly what I like.

I realise for some it's on the commercial side (with tunes like MANDY, Adagio for Square, and Yeke Yeke) but it just suits the venue and the outdoor vibe so well.
Absolute class..

So much so I got flight for Ushuaia closing on the 3rd. Literally going just for that.. :):)
Not cheap, but what the hell, YOLO!!!

Might sneak in Amnesia if it shuts early enough

They are both brilliant. A guilty pleasure! They get the balance just right IMO.

I am hoping that at Ushuaia Closing they will be on something like Midnight-0200 and then Apollonia 2AM - 5AM

Yes, that would be good or maybe give them the last 3 hours ;)

Have to think about what time to get in for that.. want to spend decent time in there as it's the reason why I'm flying over, but then again I might spend another fortune in drinks if im there for 12 hours or so..
Keen to see Maya Jane Coles too. I guess they'll do the usual as for Ants and open back bit before the main stage?

Will need to keep eye out for set times
 
Oh man...i went back in June and I think Nic and Joris went on for 3 hours. Yes the back section where the small pool is was closed when I arrived there but it was still fun. Not too busy and I think I seem to remember hearing Yeke Yeke as well! I just felt that Ibiza heartache just now...this was a good night out and I liked it more musically than Ants.

Nic signed my Renaissance Presents Nic Fanciulli CD cover as well after him and Joris were done
 
Heard it live, sounded great.

Now its T - 8 :):):):twisted::twisted::twisted:

Please please please let them be on for more than 2 hours for the closing
