the restaurant also opened last weekend (not like in the past, when it always opened one week after the opening party). lovely food as usual and from mid-may they will add lots of new things to the menu, including sushi.....

a lot of confusion - authorities closed "DC 10" for 60 days and now i heard rumors that Kumharas shall close aswell for 60 days. i yust phoned with the "Boss" and he knows nothing....
so this Saturday we will celebrate "Malte..s Sonic Garden" with VJ Paulo Ramos + Firejuggler.i hope (and we all) that it..s just rumors - but i read it in the e-news - because we are preparing some nice deco/projection with Sola (we did the Art-Partys - way back the...) and strted to bring some reaaaallly interesting DJ..s / Live -act to kumharas ( Ricoloop, Ganga, Deep Dive Corp. (thanx for the set + Womanized Guitars ,Peter......), Shiva Space Technology, Real XS, Baklava, Banzai republic....perhaps Mixmaster Morris and the Mighty Pathaan.

according to an article written by miguel maymó (owner of kumharas) appareared on this month's blue lemon magazine, they closed on july 9th and plan to reopen on september 9th :!:

Kumharas has had its appeal against the decision to close the bar
during two months last summer, rejected.

The action was originally taken by the Balearic Government after it claimed
the bar had been knowingly allowing drugs to be taken on its premises.

The owners appealed against the original decision which was denied,
before again turning to the Supreme Court.

However, once again their appeal has been denied, which now leaves them
no further judicial option and ensures they will also have to pay the fine
which accompanied the closure
