Kings of Tommorrow vs Red Carpet

Any of you who listened to Erick Morillo's Essential Mix for BBC's 10th anni special would have heard Morillo play around with Kings of Tommorrow - Finally and Red Carpet's - Be Alright...masterful. I just saw his set here and he dropped the same thing...UNREAL!!! I asked him after his set if he was gonna release it as a rmx seeing as it totally destroys dancefloors and he told me he couldnt cuz Sandy Rivera would kill him...heh. I dont know, in my mind IT JUST MAKES SENSE!!! The almagamation of both tracks just sounds soooooo good!

Morillo also played it at Subliminal closing @ Pacha and Space (club) closing. It did destroy the dancefloor as expected!

And as a bonus, you can hear and view it by downloading the video that appears in my personal signature here. I shot it when he played it at Subliminal closing @ Pacha.

Anyone have this track by itself? I haven't been able to find it.

And careful with Fusion's videos. I nearly had vertigo trying to watch one of them today  ;)

On the one hand, you're right - it's among the best house songs of this decade if not ever, so why screw it up.

But if it makes it OK for DJs to play the song in the clubs now that the original is nearly 5 years old, then I say go ahead.

The combination of it with 'Red Carpet - Alright' is absolutely brilliant!

Makes it sound as if its one track and not two.

I think the only person to hold possesion of it is Eric Morillo

Haha,

"no, really... it's... not one... but TWO... COMPLETELY DIFFERENT songs mixed together...

Honestly...."

In all honesty I reckon I could knock it up in an hour or so.

And therefore so could millions of people with a rudimentary knowledge of Adobe Audition or simialar

(Assuming a dub (if necessary) of Alright exists etc. Though not that keen on the track. Whenever I heard it I thoguh it was just Morjac - Stars with a different acapella or whatever over the top.

Love Red Carpet -'Alright', definitely my song of the year. Completely tore up Space and El Divino this year :P

Yeah, he clearly remixed it on the spot...when he spun here last thursday, he actually remixed the ENTIRE accapella of 'Finally' into 'Be Alright'...wow, it CARRIED the dancefloor, sent chills down my spine. I'm hopin either Morillo or Rivera come to their senses and RELEASE this rmx...dancefloors would be DESTROYED by this combo.

First time I heard it was last year, Roger Sanchez dropped it at 5am in Turnmills.. absolutely devastating!

:D
