Last week an ibiz lover mexican girl(met circoloco opening 16, not the usa girl with mexican roots for those that have read the review topic(she beg to see me ibz 17 :D) ) call me for a meetup (ride & club) in Paris .
even we swap fb we didnt met ibz opening as she stood me up for some meetup(around mambo) (she told me why last week, but what happened in ibz stay in ibiz :spank:)
she was there for space closing but didnt warn me...whatever it was cool to see her again
Rule of thumb about meetup, always stand by yourself :D

anyway, i liked MAW at their peak but struggling to think a single thing KD has done recently that really grabbed me. I think he's one of those yanks who no longer care cos they know there's bigger bucks to be made..

there was a good discussion about this on FB yesterday - it's really hard for small promoters in London right now (real weekly parties not your bank holiday extravaganzas) to get the big DJs to play for them because small venues can't afford them but in order to get the kids to the gigs you have to put big names on. vicious circle..
 
my good knowledge can bring him, as sven vath , cox & all big names that go there ...
last time i saw himin Paris, was with maw at wanderlust, there were not a lot of people & last time Kenny dope in a small club Djoon , louive vega too at djoon , djoon a small club where the dj is very close to you & they played House there, no tech House ..u can shake his hand , not like in ibz where they seem untouchable :lol: except bars beach bars

Weird, I was talking about this to some mates / promoters last week. Numbers just don't stack up. Some good spaces near me for 400/500 capacity events but you are right, you need a relatively safe name but their ask is to big so you can see why all you end up with the bigger 'small festival' type events
 
Kenny dope mix was not very House if u stick to that classic techno played there i have enjoyed more Busy P (didnt know it was Pedro winter(Daft punk, Justice French touch Crydamour label ) when seeing his long hair,face) that played house disco house with many classics

i didnt follow french djs/producers , last time i saw cassius was sunday at space 2001, there was a bassist player the only thing i remember from that day
