Kaskade...better than morillo, better than sanchez

Kaskade came to etown this past week and i have to say...he DESTROYED the dancefloor. Now i have to admit, i didnt know much about this dude until earlier this yr, but after listening to a cpl of his sets i was INSTANTLY a fan. I kinda knew what to expect from his set, but what we actually GOT...WOW!!!!! Theres no words to describe it, the closest word to describe the set would be "GORGEOUS"...it was sooooooo gorgeous. In my opinion, his set was better than morillo's AND sanchez's when they came. He was technically flawless, and had the crowd in the palm of his hands. And when he dropped "its u its me"...CHAOS...the dancefloor erupted, ive NEVER seen The Standard like that...it was NUTS!!!! And what makes his set even better is that most of the songs he dropped were HIS (producin phenom) or white labeled traxx. And i must say that ibiza-spotlight was represented in FINE form by urs truly (left) & canadaKid (right)...heh

if ANY of u get the chance to see this guy...DO IT!!! U wont be dissapointed, hes soooooooo good, smooth funk house...NUTHIN BEATS IT

ahaahhahaha...yeah, i bought it in eivissa town...im sure u can head down there next time ur in ibiza and pick a space shirt up...although it had better NOT be the same as mine...;) hahahaha
 
Uh oh, now Ibiza Spotlight knows what I look like... my mysteriousness is now gone ;)

It was a great great night with lotsa good music and good ppl... a bit reminiscent of the music playin before hittin the town hard in Ibiza... only 6 months to go!!!

hahahha...yes, the aura of CanadaKid is now gone...his face has been revealed. Dude, that was an AMAZING night, those guys from Connected know how to throw a partay man. Next up: Roger Sanchez in april....whhhhhhhhhhhoooooooowwweeeeeeee

He'll have to do a lot to top kaskade though...that guy was phenomenal i must say, everyfin was spot on and the choons were like waves of funk n rhythm just slowly washin over u...BOOYAKASHA

So you promise he was that good? I know some of his stuff is kind of chill easy, but dj-wise, he was all full of bouncy soulfulness? We want to shake rumps here, not keep the couch warm ;)

He's in Chicago this weekend (convenient, no)?
 
NO, trust me...u WILL be shaking ur rumps. Well, wait...i guess u have to like funk house, i mean if u like bangin hard house or somefin, im sorry kaskade WONT be for u. But, if u like smooth soulful funky house ala Roger Sanchez/Erick Morillo/David Morales then u will DEFINETELY enjoy and fall in luv wif the sounds of Kaskade. He's soooo smooth on the decks, everything just flows, now i dont know if he'll be as good in chi-town, but when he was here, he had the dancefloor in pandemonium. If u DO decide to go...let me know how he was ;)
