First off may I begin by mentioning this beauty:

As pretty as the lady on its cover. I could dance to this kind of smooth, rollicking house ALL NIGHT. We know I like the spooky/dirty/funky/space cadet stuff, but this is a wonderful change. Adore from start to finish.

SO it is about 2:30 in the morn at this point and I am covered in sweat from the gnarly Tiesto show, but Sara says "gimme more." I did booze plenty but wasn't on any type of mind altering substance... just a natural freak. :P AND in Cali you can't even booze at the clubs past 1:30 or so. Its off to Avalon in downtown Hollywood we go (SICK club).

Caught the tail end, last hour or so of Kaskade's set... very, very seductive and body-moving. I think it was a bit too soft for all the crackheads in the crowd that were igniting their afterhours festivities, but whatev. Towards the end he spun some tunes that were a bit more funked out and the crowd loved it. He's no Roger Sanchez, but I reccommend seeing him. :P

GUS GUS... where to start... WOW... def buying whatever CD is their latest!! Talk about chilling, DEEP, perfect-for-waking-you-up-during-afterhours tiredness stuff!! Groovy as all hell... definitely took advantage of Avalon's disorientingly phenomenal sound system. Devilish... think Howells on his darkest day   Had never seen Gus Gus before... some mixes or CD suggestions welcome.

Ending DJ blew my mind as well, MUST find out his name... he oddly was able to get the crowd amped up at around 4AM or so for some chunky Balearic house... don't ask me how but it was damn seamless

K, didn't get back to the hotel till 6:30 AM last night, and I swear my little muscles were thrashing around from 10PM to 5:30AM. When we checked in I could barely talk. Gotta go to bed soon but I am having too much fun hogging board space today HAHAHA

Hope everyone's weekend was just as fab :D 8) -xoxo PG

I saw (two of??) Gus Gus a while back at Turnmills, mainly off the back of the David tune. It was pretty shocking stuff - they weren't mixing at all, just playing cds! It was very 'stop-start', sometimes with a slight gap in between 8O
No one could really figure out what they were doing, maybe they were having technical problems, but they didn't respond to anyone's queries as to "what the f**k are you doing"!?! Guess they've improved.
