Oh God yes!!!!
What a nightmare it was too!!
We booked this gorgeous little hotel in the Lakes years back for our first wedding anniversay and took the pooches with us.
Went to the vets and got some sedatives for the dogs as they are terrible when left alone in a strange place (yeah yeah I know totally HMD

) Anyway, vet said one tablet for Harley, half a tablet for Benson (cos he only has half a tummy) Got to the hotel, owner comes out to meet us and Harley cant walk and just falls out the car - she's like me at 6.00am on a Sunday morning

she's so sedated, so we have to pretend that she's very very old (she's 6 at this point), Benson is still bouncing round like a loon so we have to tell the owner that Benson is the son of Harley

)
That night we get the dogs settled in our room, come downstairs to a wonderful dinner, I am starting to get a bit worried about the dogs (dont know why but call it motherly instinct) Got upstairs and Harley is off her head, she's crawled into the bathroom and is lying in the shower tray panting and her eyes are rolling around her head and she's left a trail of wee wee across the bedroom floor - she has no control over herself, so we ended up spending our anniversay evening, staying up with the dog, trying to work through her mad trip..
Never again!!! or at least not with sedated dogs.....
(on coming back home I actually checked the tablets in case Phil had given her one of our "tablets" instead of one of her vet tablets... eeeek!!!)
