and it was even better than last year, even tho there was a few disasters!
Got to the Poniente at about 5am only to be told to pick up bags and follow round the corner. Strange...was told it was full and got stuck in the worlds smallest ever room in a different apartment complex... not amused... attempted to sleep and got woken up constantly....
9am Sunday Morning... back to the Poniente and eventually the got it sorted and we got our nice big 2 bedroom apartment at 12 that day...
Sunday night... watched the sunset from Cafe Del Mar and then headed down to Eden later on for Judgement Sunday... thats when things started to go more wrong! Got in on the guest list ok this year, unlike last year and that is where my memory stops. Cant remember once single thing from walking through the door! Had a huge fight with the girlfriend, stormed out the club after about 45 min and walked up the road (having left her behind) Eventually came too being sick off the balcony... pleasant...
I have suspiscions that I was maybe spiked but dont know what it could have been to cause me to go so mad at the girlfriend
Not a good start to the holiday.
Monday... feeling seriously ill, and a hell of a lot of making up to do (still making up at the moment unfortunately too). Chilled at the beach for the afternoon then off to David's for dinner. A quality find, cheap and great food! The off down the west end to sample its "atmosphere" Ended up at Kilties (I am scottish after all) and had quite a good night.
Tuesday... feeling much better we decided to hire a car and explore the island. So off we went in our wee Megane convertible exploring. We really just made a flying visit to most places Portinatx, San Juan, Sant Carles, Santa Eularia, Benerihas (sp) beach was impressive too. Stopped for lunch at "Con Caus" in Santa Gertrudis which was impressive.
Made it back to San An with no major incidents (impressive going by the holiday so far) and decided to make a trip to Amnesia for Armada that night. Hadnt planned on going, but after the disaster which was Judgement Sunday we had to do something! And how glad are we that we did! Pre Party at Sun Sear bar, free tickets and free bus and a night never to forget. Brian Cross, Nick Warren and Van Buuren were awsome! Amnesia was so much better than I expected and I NEED one of the graphic EQ displays which was underneath the DJ box!
Wed.. not much on, just chilled, went to Coastline for the sunset and dinner. Great food and nice atmosphere, well worth it!
Thursday... it had to be Cream! So a quiet day was followed by more food at Coastline for the pre party and then a bus to Amnesia. Met people i knew from Glasgow there too which was always a bonus. Impression of Cream, music was great, atmosphere was great but FAR FAR too many people crammed in. By half 3 we couldnt move and it was getting so frustrating. Left slightly disappointed but still more than happy that we went.
Friday..
Chilled out again then off to the sunset bars and then west end. Ended up in Plastik, Hush and The Last Drop (looks like a tiny wee place but had the best music we found in the west end!) Then onto Kilties where we met up with the people from the night before. Watched in amusement as Paul drank a "Heany" (drink consisting of all 5 aftershocks in one glass..named by the kilties staff after his mate). Even got a cocktail named after ourselves... ask Debs for an "Ibiza Scorcher" well worth it!

why oh why do hotels throw you out at 11am when you fly out at 3am the next morning. It was a totally ruined day and I am still suffering now!
Overall, great holiday that could have been fantastic if it was not for the judgement sunday incident.
So am I going for 2006.... why the hell not!
