Just announced: Swedish House Mafia Confirm Dates at Ushuaïa

if you are worried about the room prices at ushuaia you won't be staying there anyway ;)

I was at the SHM closing party at Ushuaia last year. It was a great night. We got there about 6pm and it was already busy. SHM came on about 9pm and played through till closing at midnight. Drinks are just as expensive as all the other clubs so expect to pay 10€ for a beer, 15€ for a spirit/mixer and €7 for water/soft drink. Drinks are purchased using a voucher system. Although it was advertised as a pool party nobody was acutally allowed in the pool except for the end of the night when everyone just jumped in and securty could do nothing about it :lol:

I went last year when all three turned up and they come on at 9:00pm! I arrived at 8.30pm but I think getting there at 7.30pm/ 8.00pm know from Bora bora is the best time, as it supposed to be a pre party.:lol:

thats a real shame this will be my first year i wont get to see them in that case. going in aug but wont be there on the wednesday and they arent doing any shows in sept. seems a shame that they wont be taking a later residency at one of the clubs..... massive let down in my opinion:evil:

if their website didn't get hacked then it looks pretty official. yes those three full shm-dates (4th july, 1st & 29th august) will most certainly sell out ushuaïa.
 
And how many times have groups said they'd split up just to boost ticket sales. Fear not though you could always just download the top 10 electro tracks on Beatport and press play. No skill required.
 
they may not be your cup of tea, but if it was so easy, then everyone would be doing it. i remember reading an interview with a professional dj and producer (i forget who), where he admitted that nearly all of his peers would love to be able to write catchy and sellable pop-dance like guetta does. it may not sound complicated, but the simplest things are always the most difficult to do well - (the apple designer jonathan ives springs to mind).

i don't think it's a marketing gag. they don't play that many gigs together anyway.

Pretty sure they don't need to do that.
 
I'm sure they'll be back at some point.

I can imagine the promoters will already be plotting their return. $$$$$ £££££ €€€€€
