Only went for 3 nights this time. Saturday 18th – Tuesday 22nd.
After much messing around and juggling schedules at the last minute (3 people dropped out a week before and 4 new people joined in which was fun arranging flights and hotels at such short notice). After all this messing about was sorted we got to Ibiza at 3 on Saturday afternoon, got 2 taxis to the hotel (Arenal near West End) dumped our stuff and went for a few drinks at Itaca and Ibiza Rocks bar. As I knew theres nothing exciting to do on a Saturday we decided to just stay round the west end, Amsterdam Bar, London Bar and Godfathers plus a few others then we at about half 1 we headed to Eden for the “foam party†because it was free and none of us like hed kandi anyway, turned out to be a really good night apart from the lack of foam and just a ****load of water on one side of the dancefloor a massive sausagefest as well. The show they put on was pretty impressive though from a man in a bmx with illuminous black and silver outfit on suspended in mid air off a disco ball spinning round to very attractive dancers and some not so attractive tranny dancers . Didn't take the camera as we expected to be getting soaked
Sunday morning we got up about half 12 made our way to the Sports bar to watch the Liverpool v Man Utd game, had some dinner at Godfathers (gutted we didn't know Highlander had 3d sky sports!) then walked round the shops a and got our WLS tickets then went back to the hotel, stopped off at Burger King got some dinner and then got changed, back out for about half 7 got some drinks in linekars, Itaca then had a few in Ibiza rocks bar before getting on the free coach that went towards Space, stopped off at a few bars on the bora bora beach and headed to space got there for 10ish, no one else apart from me had been to space before so we went around the full club about 3 times i think as they were that amazed J before finally stopping to see Simian Mobile Discos set and heading for the rest Of Groove Armadas set followed by James Zabiela, think we left at about 7ish not sure, got the discobus back home from across the street bus stop only 3 euro each.
Monday morning we got up about 11 to see the pissing down rain so we headed to get something to eat and sat in a few bars, Joe Spoons I think and a few others I'm not sure of the names, then deaded back to the hotel about 5 got changed and had some food at KFC then got back out for about half 7, went and bought out Privilege ticket and got a free coach from Ibiza Rocks bar as well for 39 euro, went to a few other bars down the side streets of the west end were we didn't get hassled as much by PR's, then headed back towards Itaca, stopped off at one the restaurants near the beach got some food was really nice not a clue what restaurants called but it was the 3rd along from the start of the west end with the poshest looking menu, worked out about 15 euros for a meal and drink which seemed good. So we went to Itaca was quite busy had a few more in there then a quick one in Ibiza Rocks bar and on the coach for about half 1, got to privilege at about 2 but dint get in til half 2 cos they found my camera so had to stand in a stupidly big queue to hand it in, Tiesto was already on, thought it was a good set and the crowd definitely liked it, think he finished at about half 5 and some Swedish DJ came on, he seemed to be enjoying himself playing some classics but the crowd slowly thinned down and by about 7 everyone had gone, we got a free coach back from outside which was good, got in about half 7ish. Then got up at 11 rushed to the airport came home and rested all day Wednesday
Few things worth mentioning :
3 of the lads had never been to Ibiza before and so the West End was all they heard of, hence why we stayed and spent most of our time there
Has PRing become legal now? Because they all had stupidly short vests on saying which bar they worked at? Definitely wasn't legal last time I was there, 2 years ago
How did so many people get there cameras in to Space and Privilege? Every one of us got ours took off them but at least 25% of people in there had them freely taking photos
