June 24 - June 30th 2016 Review (The Best Yet)

This year we had 15 of us staying in a villa a 10 minute walk away from Bora Bora, 10 lads and 5 girls. After chilling around the villa for an hour or 2 we headed off to La Salinas and spent a good few hours sunbathing and exploring the beach; trekked all the way up to that watch tower at the far end of the beach - the views were worth it.

After Salinas we shot home to get changed and then floated over to Darius Syrossians villa for the DNS BBQ / villa party which he kindly invited us to. The music was on point and Daz even let some of us jump behind the decks and play for a while. The sunset views were unreal stretching from Cala comte to all across San An bay. After leaving the villa party at around 10.30pm we all got taxis straight to Dalt Vila for a late tapas at La Bodega (Gorgeous). From here it was straight to get changed again!

Then off to Amnesia for Music On at around 3am. Perfectly busy, danced on the podium most of the night and Marco wrapped it up at around 7.30ish i think. One song which stood out was a remix he played of Lumidee - Never Leave.

Jun 25

After catching about 4 hours sleep we just drank around our pool until it was ready to head off to Ants. Arrived at Ants for mid Yousef's set but we opted to just head down to the mainstage and secure a good spot.

At 9 Tanzmann came on with no nonsense bangers followed by Fancuilli who again just dropped complete bombs for 90 minutes. The production and stage show was the best i have ever seen at Ushuaia as were their 2 sets.

From Ants we headed back to the villa for drinks and a change and then hit El Row at around 3ish. Andrea Olivia was playing all night long on the terrace and Nic Fancuilli and Matthias Tanzmann had walked over from Ushuaia to play b2b2b for a little while; the music was on point but i wouldn't say it was very busy at all on the terrace. Also i was a very let down with the half hearted effort of the El Row city concept; it was poor decoration and looked tacky. The discoteca was as you would expect with El Row but i left rather early as i just couldn't get into it.
