Judgement Sunday vs We Love @ Space

Hi folks

I'm an Ibizan virgin going for 3 days this Saturday.

We've already bought tickets for SHM at Pacha on Monday night. I'm hoping to do Hed Kandi @ Es Paradis on Saturday night but am torn about Sunday. I'm a big Judge Jules fan and have seen him several times, add in the fact that Eddie Halliwell is there the same night and I thought the closing party for Judgement Night @ Eden on Sunday was a no-brainer, but I'm reading so much positive comments on We Love....@ Space. We also intend going to Bora Bora on Sunday afternoon so Space makes the more sense.

I'd be gutted if I did Space and didn't enjoy it because I know Judgement Night would be my sort of thing but We Love... and Space in particular seem to have iconic status.

Advice please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?
 
If Trance is really your sort of music which it appears to be and you're a fan of Jules and Eddie then it's a no-brainer and you should go to Judgement Sundays.

We Love is an amazing night and it's great to see Space in it's glory with all rooms open but if you're not going to enjoy much of the music is there really any point being there?

Evolution, thanks for your reply. I completely agree music wise, but Space has 20 artists listed and there's 12 or 13 I've never even heard of never mind know anything about!!! I suppose I'll have to do some youtubing and see if I can find anyone I like because from what I've read Space is a pretty awesome venue.
 
Its a bit of a conundrum your in here but I would suggest...

If you are really looking forward to your saturday and monday nights... ie... its pretty much for sure that you will enjoy these nights... why not broaden your horizons and give we love a go? As you say, you have seen the DJs at eden a few times.

I think the Sunday you are there is a pretty great line up at We Love... so if, like you said... youtube some of the artists, see what you think, and as you are in d'en bossa that day anyway, give it a shout.

Depending on finances, you could always go to we love with a wrist band, and then if your not enjoying it, get the disco bus back to san an by 2-3 am and go to Judgment Sundays? Or a taxi.

Also depends on what sort of stuff the rest of your party are into.

Another note, if you want to see eden as well, Mondo Loco on Saturday is actually quite good (not the best, but not bad at all) and always has free wrist bands. Last year we popped in there before Matinee at Amnesia and wish we had stayed! Then go on to Hed Kandi.

EDIT: Appears Mondo Loco may be closed already that weekend...

If we manage to get wristbands for We Love then that would solve things as we could then check out We Love for free and we could go back to San An if not impressed. I certainly don't have the budget to really want to be paying for 2 clubs in a night.

Our group consists of 6 lads between 23 and 42 so not sure how likely we are to get wristbands, I suppose we'll see!!!

Agreeing on where to go what to do will be another challenge in itself!!! :?
 
If you should end up choosing Judgement Sundays, be aware that Judge Jules appears at the back end of Eden. It's been catching loads of Jules fans out.

All the up for it people are dancing to the resident dj at the front main booth, expecting Jules to take his place, but it turns out they build decks at the back of the building.

I would say do Judgement Sunday this time..

and book a week next year and do Space and Amnesia (IF you like trance, Cream at Amnesia is a must) ;)
 
Thanks Ferd, I am so gutted about missing the closing party for Cream on the Thrusday that I am thinking of extending my holiday!!!
 
Put it this way... you will have a great night no matter what you decide to do.
Wristbands are Plentiful about Bora Bora for we love if you decide to check it out.

We stayed in San An for 2 nights on our last visit. And the morning we were moving to PDB we nipped in one of the little supermarkets really close to the west end and Judge Jules was there buying his milk and bread with the mrs... was quite surreal... only in ibiza... :)
 
Thanks Sophie, am really hoping we can get wristbands for Space and then I can do both, especially as Judgement Sunday is a closing party am I right in saying it will finish late?????????
