Juuuuuuuust when I was thinking I was getting bored with my good friend Funky House, WHACK had this played around 5 times last night.

Even though the vocal's crap (a strictly 4 out of 10 affair), it absolutely smashes it.

It's like an advert of how funky house should be. Top production, girly lyrics, a swirly baseline yet derived from an actual instruments sound, rather than an electro synth

I suppose it's no MPL (which is where we'll all draw comparisons) (but then I still think I'll look back at MPL in 5 years time and say it was a seminal piece of work)

Plus I got in yesterday after a 5 day long bender as my next door neighbour's daughter was having her 5th birthday party. With a bouncy fcuking castle. And soundtrack to match.

Now, whilst I'll express some regret at the character assaination going on, it will only be to prevent myself from being the bad guy.

Though the point remains. Keep out of anything I post in, unless it's a "quote and smiley" on my posts to signify how amazing I am.

Nop. Her personal favourite (which was similarly (and literallly, for an hour) played on repeat at her last 'do'), was this kids pop song which has the line "One step closer to heaven baby means one step closer to you...",

Which is doubly irritating as is the only bit of the song that i remember, and if you look into it's literal meaning, sounds as if it's an ode to a dead ex-boyfriend (which is slightly worrying for a 5 year old.).

If it's not gone out of my head by Friday I'm going over to have words.

No need for the tune Id, folks.
