Jellyfish

Have heard reports that the west of the Island has a big problem with jellyfish this year. Am hoping to visit next month. Can anyone please let me know the situation on my favourite beaches - Cala's Boix, Vadella, D'Hort & Benirras :?:

Of those 4 you mentioned, we were at Boix and Benirras this year.

I didn't swim but the missus did (and our friends as well at Benirras) and no one reported any jellyfish.

Last year they were everywhere in the southwest. Cala D'Hort was full of them, as were Atlantis and a couple of other beaches we visited on that side. We didn't get over there this year.

I saw them at Salinas and Cala D'Hort this year. Salinas no-one was swimming but Cala D'Hort there were far less of them so it was ok to swim.

just got back from barcelona and there were jellyfish everywhere (in the bars , in the clubs, driving taxis, ordering bowls of ice cream in restaurants)

but there were plenty of people swimming.

Bloody jellyfish, (literally) soft as sh#te man!

Loads at Gracio, Cala D'Hort and Atlantis a few weeks back. My other half got stung (snigger) at Gracio

Yep, we saw them too at Cala D'Hort and my friend got stung at Cala Gracio, i was ok though, i had nicked his lilo!:lol:

Edit:- Ive just found out who im posting behind!!! ROFL Its the friends I went with! Doh!

Current report : Massive amount of Jellyfish at Salinas & Benirras.

I was stung but luckily I'm massively hard and carried on with my charming of rich women in rich boats while their husbands were pissing around with anchors. The sting went down in about an hour, my charm however, will die with me.
