Pretty cool cd but i'm not a fan of the whole loadsa songs in a short period o' time thing. At the moment i'm preferring carl cox's stuff. ohh i forgot to tell u i got his new single, 'moroccan chant', proper techno! :D

the original mix is brillaint the percussion and the vocal sample has that samba style edge to it that i think will go down a treat at space. :D

the eric and powell mix is a bit poo in comparison, nothing on the original, better if you like the more percussive stuff i suppose.

alex: I like both mixes but i think the original does take the biscuit. I really like that samba feel, much like my fave max walder track, i'm sure you can guess which one that is.
 
Fab album.

Always a bit mixed about his sets, but I'm going to try to catch him again soon (he's playing Pressure this month, but I'm away in Manchester that weekend).

I would strongly recommend downloading his recent set on John Peel from soulseek as it is possibly the best mix I've heard in the past 12 months.
 
was that the one he played a few months back? I seem to remember it being really badly mixed? Thats not to insult mills though because you could tell that they were all just having a natter and funkin about in the studio!

It was originally done in Spring 03, but Peel played it again on his show about 3 weeks ago.

I thought it was amazing and didn't really notice the mixing to be poor.
 
maybe its not the same mix i'm thinking of then. But i seem to remember real blatent shocking mixing in some places but then peel would come on or laughing with jeff etc.
