just saw him on saturday. didn't think his set was anything special tbh, but liked his closing track - nathan fake's sky was pink (the holden remix of course).

I agree, I have never really rated his mixing skill. Although sometimes he smashes it!

Suppose it depends on how much K he has done :roll:

I agree I've seen him once heard a couple of sets, I think his sets are boring in comparison to some. Can't see why on earth he was voted best DJ loads more are better. But I'm sure people wouldn't express a major distaste for him if he hadn't won the poll. For me he's just a case of liking a bit and not loving.
 
Got to be honest I don't focus on mixing skill too much it's more track choice for me - he's kinda boring. I saw him warm up for other DJ's and he served his purpose well
 
My guess is mainly Circo Loco, then some Kehakuma dates, with a Cocoon and 1 or 2 Pure Pacha /Pete Tong dates thrown in for good measure - the latter having been confirmed: "Expect a fierce line-up with 2012 promising the likes of Calvin Harris, Groove Armada, Axwell, Trentmöller, Laurent Garnier, Sasha , Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and Maya Jane Coles all headlining alongside the infamous Pete Tong himself.

I don't get what you mean by this lol unless you are referring to the fact that pacha is so cheesy and gay these days? Martinez is in pacha too, who I wanna see. And on the luciano night which to me sounds like hell on earth but many a good night has been had in pacha in the past, in the days of renaissance. And you might be right about the Saturday's at dc10, pdiddy has been in there see vids on YouTube, can u imagine how disappointed the genuine music lovers were that day lol
 
General music lovers and people who go to a club to sit in the VIP, spend thousands and couldn't care what music is played generally don't mix lol

This could be the season where Jamie Jones finally becomes a commercial music artist..

Well not necessarily commercial as long as he sticks to the music he has always played hes done nothing wrong. I wouldn't worry about any if the djs I liked going to the dark side cos atm theres a thousand other out there just as good. Sometimes I think I wouldn't mind a night in pacha for a change havent been for years and someone I like will be there now but then other times I think what's the point there r so many others i can see who play just the same music who I like and probably will have a cheaper night
