The life of Southampton's latest DJ prodigy was then turned upside down. Three years ago, he'd never even been in a plane while nowadays he takes his recordbags to all corners of the globe. The former Bedroom Bedlam winner is now voted as 11th most popular DJ in the world!
With already two mix compilations under his belt, for Groovetech and Hooj, a new one is now under way. This will provide a good opportunity to hear how his skills have evolved using decks, CDJ's and effects units. James will also take the new Pioneer DVJ's on the road soon to mix music and visuals together, something Sander Kleinenberg is also currently roadtesting.
James Zabiela will release his new mix, entitled 'ALiVE', on Renaissance around July/August and it will features music from SI Begg, PJ Davy, Deetron, BT and Atomic Hooligan amongst others. The release will be followed by an extended tour later in the year.
